Joan Rivers and her daughter, Melissa Rivers, have been hosting E!'s pre-award shows and

E!'s Fashion Reviews since 1995.

With awards shows striving to return elegance and "old Hollywood" style to events, we wonder if Joan's crass attitude and rude commentary still has a place on the Red Carpet. E!'s all day coverage of Hollywood's biggest nights are enjoyable, with the right personalities in perfect place. BUT we'd love to see E!'s darling gossip guru Ted Casablanca paired with true style experts, perhaps PEOPLE's West Coast style editor Steven Cojocaru, or even the personalities from "Fashion Emergency," Emme, Leon Hall

and Brenda Cooper, to conduct the red carpet interviews.

Contemporary television icon and a wonderfully warm, very classy lady, Mary Hart has hosted the popular news magazine, Entertainment Tonight, since 1982.

Janet Reno was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame on October 7, 2000. She loyally served as the United States Attorney General from 1993 through 2001. On the Saturday night this picture was taken at San Francisco International Airport, The Honorable Ms. Reno was taking a flight to a Sunday morning meeting in Chicago and Miss DeJanvier was enroute to New York City.

Todd Newton: E! simply wouldn't bE! without him.

Todd pulls in the viewers with his smooth, powerful, clear delivery of the channel's voice overs, hosts "Coming Attractions," and represents E! at many celebrity events. Todd Newton also hosts the popular game show "Celebrity Showdown," and recently accepted an offer from Paramount Domestic Television to host "Hot Ticket," a fast-paced entertainment show which will include reviews and behind-the-scenes information on movie openings and DVD releases. We think Todd has the class and style to write his own ticket for lasting success!

Todd Newton and his bride just celebrated their first wedding anniversary on July 8, 2001 ~ the same day their first baby was due! We wish the Newton family all the best!

Recognize this rascal? E!'s easy going stage manager, Tom McNamara, frequently provides comic relief in front of the camera. He's often pulled in to skits on "Talk Soup" and la Rivers' Fashion Reviews.
