THE PLACE TO BE

Dubbed by The Hollywood Reporter as "the premiere hipster haven," the Chrysler Lounge opened on Friday, January 17, kicking off the 2003
Chrysler Million Dollar Film Festival Filmmaker Showcase in Park City, Utah. The venue played host to a series of events and musical performances, celebrating the art of filmmaking, filmmakers and the competition. Chrysler partnered with L.A.'s Backstage Creations to create a special area in the Lounge for celebrities to be introduced to new products, including items from Bacardi, Furla, JanSport, Lois Hill, Marchon Eyewear, Nintendo, Sonya Dakar, and TiVo.

A fleet of top stars cruised into Chrysler's Talent Retreat, including Edward Burns, Monica Calhoun, Kim Cattrall, Rachel Leigh Cook, Macaulay Culkin, Rosario Dawson, Zooey Deschanel, Illeana Douglas, Robert Downey, Jr., Rachel Dratch, Patrick Fugit, Seth Green, Dustin Hoffman, Sharron Lawrence, John Leguizamo, Ron Livingston, Natasha Lyonne, Dylan McDermott, Carrie Anne Moss, Brett Ratner, Jason Schwartzman, Chloe Sevigny and Wilmer Valderrama.

American Beauty Mena Suvari poses with the Chrysler Lounge gift bag.
Jewelry designer Lois Hill brought her extraordinary line of handcrafted sterling silver pieces to the event.  Kim Cattrall loved the cuff that was specially designed for her and Fran Drescher selected one similar to Kim's. Robert Downey, Jr. (left) and Ed Burns both chose the masculine handcrafted sterling silver chain with a rectangular pendant.
Even super stars love to be surprised!  Seth Green reacts to opening one of the sponsor's products (above), while Dustin Hoffman's reaction to Bacardi's mojito cocktail kit gets a giggle from Backstage Creations founder Karen Wood (right).
(above)  Acting legend Dustin Hoffman talks with a rep from Sonya Dakar Skin Care, a fast growing high-end skin care company renowned for its effective products and celebrity following, while Pauly Shore (above left) receives a facial from a Sonya Dakar esthetician.
Seth Green and Rachel Lee Cook love their new TiVo DVR.  Stephen Baldwin (below left) plans to add it to his entertainment center. John Leguizamo (center right) was about to purchase a TiVo to record his favorite t.v. shows.
Nintendo's Game Cube is the perfect size for a star trailer, which is where Mena Suvari plans to keep hers. Maria Bello (right), Olympia Dukakis, and Ed Burns also received popular Nintendo games, like Metroid Prime.
Clockwise from left above: Rachel Dratch with Sonya Dakar Skin Care products and JanSport's fashionable, functional backpack; John Leguizamo with a gift package from Furla; Monica Calhoun chose Nike Ski Goggles from Marchon; and Dustin Hoffman checks out a Furla leather bag.
